Marc Sittenfield

Marc's experience in the hospitality and restaurant business started early on. He began working with his Dad in the South of France during summer vacations at 14 years old. After working with his father, he worked at numerous restaurants in the French Riviera including The Mas Candille in Mougins and Gaston Gastounette in Cannes. In the late 80's, Marc moved to Los Angeles where he worked for Bruce Marder at West Beach Cafe and Rebecca's in Venice, followed by L'Orangerie in West Hollywood. During the the mid 90's Marc moved to San Francisco and began working at Hawthorne Lane; opened Bushi-Tei restaurant with chef Seji Wakabayashi and obtained a coveted Michelin star; managed Ozumo restaurant; and then was General Manager of Luce restaurant and Bar 888 in the new Intercontinental San Francisco where he worked with chef Dominique Crenn to create a unique hotel restaurant.

Marc really loves meeting people, entertaining and, of course, great food.
